Why Ukraine?

 Ukraine has excellent geography conditions and scenic nature. Many regions have saved their ethnic originality. Tourists have a great opportunity to discover Ukrainian culture, songs, dances and meals. The riches of natural, historical and cultural potential of Ukraine are hardly to overestimate. Over 500 cities of Ukraine were founded more than 900 years ago, 4500 villages are more than 300 years old. More than 150 thousand monuments of culture, history, archaeology reflect the remarkable history of Ukraine. 80% of the monuments of Kyivan Rus epoch (9-11 centuries) are concentrated in the territory of Ukraine. More than 600 museums introduce the most outstanding facts and personalities of history and culture of Ukraine.

A wide variety of attractions in Ukraine capture the interest of tourists from the all over world. The most remarkable monuments are the Kyyevo-Pecherska Lavra (Kyivan Cave Monastery), the St. Sophia’s Cathedral in Kyiv and the historical center of Lviv city. They have been entered into the List of the World Heritage of UNESCO. In the historical city of Lviv visitors can admire amazing architecture and explore great Ukrainian attractions including the National Museum, Antique Armory, Museum of Ethnography and Crafts, Museum of History and the Opera House of Ivan Franko. Tourists are very interested in architectural monuments of various epochs and styles: monuments of defensive architecture - fortresses in Lutsk and Khotyn, castles in Olesko, Zolochiv, Kamyanets-Podilsky, palace complexes in Crimea, in Lviv and Chernigiv regions; monuments of wooden worship and folk architecture in the Carpathians.

Ukrainian Carpathians have lots of attractions for tourists: beautiful natural areas, forests, alpine meadows, rough rivers and mountain lakes, curative mineral sources. Black Sea pearl Odessa with shadowy Prymorsky Boulevard, outstading Opera House, impressive Potemkinsky Stairs and well-known Deribasivska Street attract millions of tourists. In southern part of Ukraine you can visit the Crimea, where mountains, Black Sea, small towns and historical sights are uniquely united. Ukraine is wonderful country and it has many tourist attractions to be discovered.
